The newest brother-in-law....

So what do you do to combat "empty nest" syndrome? You adopt an orphan, of course! In this case it just happens to be a goat orphan.

Since Karl's youngest brother left on his mission last November, it appears that his dad has found a new "son" to keep him company. George is a cute "kid".

Welcome Gabriel James Redhouse!

This blog is a little late coming, but I didn't want to miss the chance to introduce Gabriel James Redhouse,

son of Karl's sister Elisa, and her husband James.

Gabriel was born shortly after the first of the year and Karl and I were able to be there for Gabriel's first day home from the hospital.

Congratulations to Elisa and James on the wonderful addition to their family!
